ROB THE RANTER - Northumberland & Northeast

Rob the Ranter sits upright in about 33 meters, a steamship that went down back in 1920. It's a proper wreck dive, the kind where you can still pick out the bow and stern, with decent penetration if you're qualified and the conditions are right. We've seen some big cod sheltering in the deeper sections of the hull, and the deck plates are often covered in anemones and dead man's fingers, which really pop under a good torch. It’s a solid dive for experienced wreck enthusiasts, especially when the visibility plays ball, which, let's be honest, can be a bit of a lottery in the North Sea.
