SARAH ANNE - Northumberland & Northeast

The Sarah Anne, a sailing vessel sunk way back in 1895, offers a decent dive for those exploring the Northumberland coast. Lying in about 15 metres, the wreck isn't massive, just under 30 metres long, but what's left is quite characterful. We've found the structure, though broken, still provides plenty of nooks and crannies where various crabs and lobsters like to hide, and the hull plates are often covered in anemones. It’s a good spot for a relaxed dive, especially if you enjoy poking around history rather than chasing pelagics.
