SARAH FOX - Northumberland & Northeast

The Sarah Fox, a sailing vessel that met its end in 1878, lies broken up in a shallow six meters just northwest of the Queen's Channel Bar. What's left of her timbers, spread across the seabed, offers a rummage dive rather than a coherent wreck penetration. Expect to find conger eels tucked into the larger sections of debris and wrasse flitting between the ribs. It's a site that rewards those who enjoy hunting for artifacts and aren't put off by limited visibility, making it a good choice for newer divers seeking their first wreck experience without the pressures of depth or strong currents.
