SCORPIO - Northumberland & Northeast

The Scorpio, a fishing vessel that went down in 1994, now rests upright at 11 metres. It’s a compact wreck, only 7.9 metres long, but still offers a nice poke-around for divers. We found it's a good spot for newer wreck enthusiasts, or anyone wanting a relaxed dive without much depth to contend with. Expect to see plenty of wrasse and blennies darting in and out of the old fishing gear. Given the relatively shallow depth, it makes for a decent second dive or a quick trip out when the weather's behaving.
