SEA KITTEN - Northumberland & Northeast

The Sea Kitten is a small yacht, gone down off the Northumberland coast in 1972. It’s not a huge wreck by any stretch, more like a small, broken-up structure on the seabed, but that’s part of its charm. You’ll find its remains scattered at around 18 metres, providing plenty of nooks and crannies for local marine life. Expect to spot plenty of wrasse darting between the metal plates, and sometimes a curious conger eel peering out from under a bigger section. It's a great spot for an easy second dive or for newer wreck divers looking to get a feel for things without strong currents or massive depths.
