THOMAS - Northumberland & Northeast

The THOMAS wreck is a solid little dive, especially for those who appreciate history settling into the seabed. This wooden barge, resting at a shallow 5 metres, sank back in 1895. You’ll find the timbers are well-broken now, but the ribs still offer some structure, forming nooks and crannies for crabs and lobsters. It's an easy dive, perfect for extending your bottom time, and the low depth makes it a good option if you’re looking for something gentle or want to introduce newer divers to wreck exploration. Keep an eye out for flatfish camouflaged against the sand nearby.
