Wreck of Lady Ann Murray - Northumberland & Northeast

The Lady Ann Murray isn’t just another pile of tangled metal; it’s a proper wreck dive, full of character, and we love it for that. We’ve done this one when the vis is a decent ten metres, and it makes all the difference. You can pick out the shape of the bow, then follow the hull structure back, feeling the pull of the current as you go. It’s a broken wreck, sure, but that means more swim-throughs and pockets for life to hide in. Look for the lobsters tucked into every crevice, their antennae waving, and the colourful sea anemones coating the exposed steel plates. Our favourite part is navigating the scattered debris field – it’s like an underwater scavenger hunt, always something new to spot. This dive suits those who appreciate history and don't mind a bit of a current. If you’re into exploring nooks and crannies rather than just circling a single mast, this one’s for you.
