Tasmania Wreck - Ontario Great Lakes
The *Tasmania* wreck in the Great Lakes offers a proper cold water dive. It’s an older schooner, fairly intact, which is always a bonus for wreck divers. We’ve found the bow section to be particularly atmospheric, with the mast still reaching up and creating a nice silhouette against the gloomier light. Expect to see some good-sized freshwater fish - we’ve often come across burbot tucked into the deeper recesses and schools of perch darting through the broken deck. It’s a solid dive for those who appreciate maritime history and don’t mind the chill, offering a good opportunity for some careful penetration into the cargo holds if you're qualified and conditions allow.
