The Juno Shipwreck - Ontario Great Lakes
The Juno shipwreck in the Ontario Great Lakes gives us a look at history, sitting upright and mostly intact on the lakebed. We found it a pretty straightforward dive for those comfortable with cold water and deeper wrecks. You’ll see plenty of fish, usually perch and trout, darting through the broken decking and the remaining superstructure. It’s a great chance to explore a piece of maritime past, with the cold freshwater preserving much of its wooden hull. This site is definitely for divers who appreciate the quiet history of a freshwater wreck over big pelagics.
