Pro Dive International Occidental Xcaret - Cozumel
The team at Pro Dive International Occidental Xcaret are your go-to if you’re staying at the resort and want a genuinely hassle-free dive trip. It’s a PADI 5 Star outfit, running trips to the Cozumel reefs, as well as cenote dives. We love that they’re right there by the main pool, meaning no long treks with gear. They’re perfect for divers who appreciate convenience and reliable service, especially families where not everyone dives. You’re really choosing them for the sheer ease of it. Our favourite trips were the early morning Cozumel runs. Jumping on the boat just a short walk from breakfast, then the cool Caribbean air hitting your face as you speed towards Palancar. We often saw turtles munching on sponges there, or the resident nurse sharks tucked under ledges. For the cenotes, they’ll handle all the transport and logistics, which, trust us, is a godsend when you’re dealing with the humidity and multiple tanks. We’d suggest bringing your own mask and computer, though, just for that guaranteed comfortable fit. Their gear is solid, but personal kit always feels better.
