With 177+ marine species recorded in the area - including barracuda, bull sharks, dolphins, eagle rays and nurse sharks - Bajo de Molas offers some of Cozumel's richest diving. Water ranges 27-30°C, warmest August, September, October.
Bajo de Molas offers a gentler drift along a sandy slope, suitable for newer divers or those looking for a relaxed dive. We typically find several splendid toadfish here, often tucked into small crevices. Keep an eye out for the striking patterns of elegant and harlequin brittle stars on the sponges. It’s a good spot for macro enthusiasts, too.
