San Benedicto - Socorro Islands
San Benedicto often kicks off liveaboard trips in Socorro, and it's a solid introduction to the big animal action. We’ve found the manta encounters here can be truly special, often very interactive, sometimes even a little playful. Expect to see plenty of those giant Pacific manta rays cruising by, alongside various sharks and maybe even a passing dolphin pod. It's a great spot for photographers keen on capturing those graceful mantas right from the start of a trip.
