Divers Paradise - Florida Keys
The team at Divers Paradise are a solid choice if you're looking to start your PADI journey or push your certifications further in the Keys. We’ve always found their instructors have a knack for putting new divers at ease, making those first breaths underwater feel a lot less intimidating. Our favorite part about diving with them is their focus on taking the time to enjoy the journey, not just rushing through the skills. They’re based in Key Biscayne, which is a bit different from the typical Upper or Lower Keys vibe. It means you’re often diving wrecks and reefs closer to Miami, like the famous Neptune Memorial Reef, or some of the shallower patch reefs that are genuinely vibrant. We’d suggest going early in the morning to beat the boat traffic; the sunlight hitting those shallower reefs around 9 AM can be spectacular, really making the colors pop. While the Keys are famous for deeper dives, Divers Paradise excels at showing you the beauty of the shallower sites, perfect for less experienced divers or those who just want a relaxed, longer bottom time among the parrotfish and grunts.
