Outer Munxar Rock is one of those Comino sites that delivers a reliable Mediterranean dive. We usually drop onto a rocky reef, a mix of small corals and rock formations where we've spotted soldierfish poking out of crevices and occasionally a loggerhead turtle cruising by. It’s a good spot for finding Painted Combers in the open, and if you have a keen eye, the smaller stuff like butterfly blennies and black gobies are usually around. We’d say it’s a solid pick for divers looking for a relaxed exploration, not too demanding, and generally calm enough to enjoy the details.
