Octopus Club - Florida Keys

The team at Octopus Club in the Keys really gets it. They’re less about the big resort experience and more about getting divers out to those lesser-known spots, or hitting the popular ones when the crowds are elsewhere. We’ve always found their shop to be a good spot to grab air fills and get a chat in, and their boats are comfortable, not overly packed. We love that they often run smaller group trips. It means more space on deck to spread out your gear, and a more relaxed pace underwater. Our favourite move is to book an early morning two-tank trip with them; you beat the rush out to sites like Molasses Reef and get to watch the sun climb over the water as you gear up. They’re particularly good for those deeper wreck dives off Key Largo, too, if you’re looking to explore below 25 metres. They’re focused on making divers better, whether that’s through an advanced course or just sharing some local knowledge before a dive. If you're looking for a friendly, professional outfit that values good diving over flashy amenities, Octopus Club is a solid pick.
