Liquid Cosmos Divers - Hawaii
The team at Liquid Cosmos Divers on the Big Island’s Kohala coast are our kind of people. They run a PADI dive boat operation, but it feels more like diving with experienced mates than a commercial outfit. We love their focus on small groups; it means you actually get to chat with the crew and aren't jostling for space on the deck. Our favourite dives with them are definitely the drift dives along the coast, especially when the currents are running just right. You just float along, the reef passing beneath you, often with eagle rays gliding by in the blue. One morning, we had a pod of spinner dolphins swim right under the boat on the way out, their clicks audible even through the hull. It’s that kind of unscripted magic that makes Liquid Cosmos special. If you're looking for a relaxed, personal dive experience where the crew remember your name and your preferred tank size, this is it. They’re fantastic for anyone who appreciates a chill vibe and wants to avoid the big, crowded cattle boats.
