Maui Dreams Dive Co. - Hawaii
The team at Maui Dreams Dive Co. are exactly who you want when you’re diving in a new place. We’ve always found their crew to be genuinely friendly, not just the "aloha-for-show" kind, but truly invested in making sure you have a good time and stay safe. They’re PADI 5 Star IDC, which means serious instruction, from your first open water course right through to instructor development, all done with a laid-back Hawaiian vibe that we really appreciate. We love that their shop in Kihei is just a stone’s throw from some seriously good shore diving. Grab a tank, and you can be finning over lava fingers at Five Graves or spotting turtles munching on algae at Turtle Town within minutes. Our favourite tip? Head out early, just as the sun warms the water, and you’ll often have those sites almost to yourself, with visibility stretching further and fewer divers stirring up the sand. They also run boat trips, of course, but the ease of just walking in, gearing up, and stepping into the Pacific is a huge draw for us. This is the place for divers who appreciate expert guidance without the fuss, especially if you’re keen to explore Maui’s fantastic shore diving.
