Waikiki Dive Center - Hawaii
The team at Waikiki Dive Center are a solid choice if you’re staying in Honolulu and want to make the most of your time underwater. We've always found them to be incredibly organised, running like a well-oiled machine from the moment you step into the shop for your gear. They specialise in taking divers to some of Oahu's most popular sites, and they do it with a consistent, friendly professionalism that makes things feel easy. For those looking to advance their diving, they’re a PADI 5 Star IDC centre, which means they’re serious about instruction – a good sign for any level of diver, even if you’re just doing a refresher. Our favourite part about diving with them is their knack for finding the sweet spots at popular wrecks like the Sea Tiger and YO-257. We’ve had dives where we saw schools of eagle rays gliding past the bow, and on another, a shy white-tip reef shark tucked into a crevice, eyes barely visible. They know these sites intimately. The boats are comfortable, a nice touch when you’re heading out for a couple of dives. We'd suggest asking them about their early morning trips; the light can be incredible, and you sometimes beat the larger crowds.
