Halona Blow Hole is an interesting shore dive, often accessed when other sites are too rough. You’ll find a sandy bottom dropping to about 15 metres, with some scattered coral heads and lava formations. Look for turtles cruising through the surge, and the occasional whitetip reef shark in the deeper sections. It’s a good alternative for experienced divers comfortable with surge, particularly when the south swells are up.
