Molokini Crater - Hawaii

Molokini Crater is an often-visited site, a crescent-shaped volcanic caldera off Maui. We find the inside wall offers calmer conditions, good for newer divers or snorkelers, with schools of triggerfish and parrotfish. If you're looking for more action, the outside "back wall" drops considerably, sometimes with stronger currents and the chance of pelagics cruising by. It’s a popular spot, so don't expect solitude, especially on morning trips.
