Turtle Canyon (East) - Hawaii

Turtle Canyon (East) is a perfect spot for divers just starting out, or anyone looking for a relaxed afternoon under the Hawaiian sun. At a comfortable 12 meters, it’s a gentle drift over lava fingers and sandy patches. You'll find green sea turtles here, sometimes resting in the grooves, sometimes cruising by, completely unfazed by divers. We’ve also seen white tip reef sharks tucked under ledges, and the usual suspects like butterflyfish and parrotfish picking over the reef. It’s a low-key dive, great for practicing buoyancy and just enjoying the calm.
