With 35+ marine species recorded in the area - including nurse sharks - Jeffreys Ledge offers some of New England's richest reef diving. Water ranges 4-19°C, warmest July, August, September.
Jeffreys Ledge offers classic New England diving. You'll often find lobsters tucked into crevices and schools of groundfish moving through the kelp. Conditions can vary quite a bit, so it's best for divers comfortable with cooler water and potentially strong currents. We’ve found it’s a solid spot for a weekend boat trip when you want to see some familiar Atlantic creatures.
