U-352 Wreck - North Carolina

The U-352 isn't just a dive; it’s a history lesson encased in steel, lying just off North Carolina. We love this wreck for its character, sitting upright at around 35 meters, still largely intact despite the decades. You’ll descend into that distinct Atlantic green, often greeted by sand tiger sharks circling the bow, their teeth glinting in the ambient light. The conning tower is still very much a conning tower, and we always suggest a careful penetration into the control room if you’re comfortable with overhead environments. Inside, the gauges and dials are long gone, but the overall structure gives you a real sense of its past. Look for the massive Goliath groupers that sometimes hover in the cargo hold, big as refrigerators, alongside schools of amberjack that flash past. Visibility can shift, so pick your day, but even on a greener dive, the sheer size and history of the U-352 shines through. It’s a spectacular dive for experienced wreck enthusiasts.
