NAI BAI HAI - El Gouna

Nai Bai Hai is one of our favourite El Gouna wrecks, particularly for those newer to diving or anyone who just fancies a long, easy dive. This motor vessel sits in just 6 metres of water, almost entirely intact and listing heavily to port. It's a proper playground; you can fin through the open cargo holds, poke around the cabins, and even pop your head up into the wheelhouse for a quick look around. The shallow depth means fantastic natural light penetration, illuminating the thick encrustations of hard and soft corals that have claimed the wreck. Keep an eye out for lionfish lurking in shadowed corners and colourful parrotfish grazing on the superstructure. We’d suggest going in the morning; the light is best then, and you often get a bit of schooling silverside action around the bow. It’s perfect for photographers wanting extended bottom time and a relaxed pace.
