With 57+ marine species recorded in the area - including dolphins, humpback whales, octopuses, seahorses and spinner dolphins - Blind Reef offers some of El Gouna's richest reef diving. Water ranges 20-28°C, warmest July, August, September.
Blind Reef is a decent drift dive, often done from a RIB. The reef itself is a long, sloping wall that starts around 10 meters and drops to its maximum at 21 meters, making it good for intermediate divers comfortable with currents. You'll often spot triggerfish, some smaller schooling fish, and we've seen a few moray eels tucked into the crevices. It’s a solid option if you’re looking for a relaxed dive in El Gouna without too much fuss.
