HADIA - Marsa Alam

Hadia, often called the Plastic Wreck, is a tanker that ran aground near Ghosoum in 1970, settling in just five metres of water. We've found this site to be a surprisingly engaging shallow dive, particularly for those looking to spend time exploring a wreck without significant depth considerations. The ship's structure is home to a good number of reef fish, and we've often seen lionfish tucked into its crevices. It's a relaxed dive, perfect for extended bottom times or for photographers wanting to capture the way the light plays through the shallow water and onto the wreck's metalwork. We'd suggest pairing it with a drift dive nearby, making Hadia a gentle end to the day.
