Shaab Bohar Kebir Ost - Marsa Alam

Shaab Bohar Kebir Ost, out from Marsa Alam, can be a bit of a lucky dip. We’ve had dives here where it’s just a solid reef, nothing too wild, but then there are those days when the resident pods of dolphins decide to make an appearance. We’re talking Long-beaked, Bridled, or even Indian Ocean bottlenose dolphins cruising past. Keep an eye out for false killer whales too; they're around. It’s a good spot for patient divers, especially those keen on a shot at seeing something truly special in the blue. If you’re not fussed about big pelagics, it’s still a pleasant reef, with cowfish usually bobbing about.
