Shaab Sataya Amphoren - Marsa Alam

Diving the Amphoren wreck at Shaab Sataya is a pretty relaxed affair. We typically find a good number of cowfish pottering about the deck and around the surrounding reef. The wreck itself isn't huge, but there’s enough structure to poke around, with some interesting nooks and crannies where smaller reef fish like to hide. What really makes this spot though are the dolphins. You often get visits from Indian Ocean bottlenose and even long-beaked dolphins, making for some truly special moments. It’s a good easy dive, especially for those looking for a gentle wreck and a chance at a dolphin encounter.
