PANACIA - Eilat

Panacia isn't just a wreck; it's practically a reef in its own right, and our pick for a really chilled-out, shallow dive in Eilat. We love the way the light filters through the superstructure, just two metres down. It feels incredibly peaceful. The wreck itself, a small landing craft, lies broken but inviting, a perfect playground for blennies and gobies darting between the rusty plates. Look closely, and you’ll spot lionfish tucked into crevices and schools of colourful anthias shimmering over the deck. This site is brilliant for photographers wanting to practice their macro skills in fantastic natural light, or for anyone who just wants to spend an hour exploring without worrying about depth or deco limits. It's a gentle introduction to wreck diving, ideal for newer divers or those looking for a leisurely second dive.
