SYRIA - Eilat

The Syria wreck, resting at 31 metres, offers a slightly eerie but thoroughly engaging dive. We’ve found her to be quite broken up, a testament to her ‘dangerous wreck’ classification, yet that fragmentation opens up fascinating nooks and crannies for exploration. Look for the schools of sweepers inside the deeper holds, and keep an eye out for lionfish often perched on the deck plates. While she’s not a vibrant coral garden, the wreck itself is a unique habitat, drawing in plenty of pipefish and juvenile emperors. This site is definitely one for divers comfortable with depth and navigating around a more scattered structure.
