Aquatic World - Aqaba
The team at Aquatic World are our go-to in Aqaba for a reason. They really nail that sweet spot between professional and laid-back, which, frankly, isn't always easy to find. If you’re looking to get certified, especially if you’re new to the whole diving thing, we’d suggest them. They’re PADI 5-star, so the training is solid, and their instructors have a knack for making you feel completely at ease. We love how they operate from a quiet spot, avoiding the main hustle, and their boat trips are always well-organised without feeling rushed. Our favourite tip for diving with them? Ask about early morning dives to the Cedar Pride wreck. Dropping in before the crowds arrive means you often have the entire sunken ship to yourself, watching schools of snapper drift through the cargo holds in the soft morning light. The visibility in Aqaba is usually excellent, often pushing 30 metres, which makes those wreck penetrations even more inviting. They're also great for shore dives at sites like the Tank, making logistics simple if you prefer not to boat out every time. Just remember to bring reef-safe sun cream; that Red Sea sun is no joke.
