HOUDA - Tyre

The Houda wreck in Tyre sits right in the port, an easy five-meter dive, perfect for those calm days. This motor vessel capsized back in '84, landing on its port side near Quay 4, leaving us with a pretty accessible piece of history. You'll find it well-colonised by now; we've seen schools of juvenile barracuda darting through its superstructure, and plenty of nudibranchs clinging to the metal. It’s a nice gentle dive, great for photographers wanting to capture light rays filtering through the harbour water, or anyone looking for a relaxed exploration without strong currents.
