University of Balamand Reef - Tyre

The University of Balamand Reef, just off Tyre, is a decent shallow spot, easy to navigate. You’ll find it mostly flat, a rocky bottom with patches of seagrass where we often spot juvenile groupers and an occasional moray eel peeking out. It’s a comfortable dive, maxing out at 19 metres, making it a good choice if you're looking for a relaxed second dive or working on some buoyancy skills without strong currents to worry about. We’ve had some nice encounters with schools of bream here, and it’s generally pretty quiet.
