WAJIH - Tyre
The WAJIH, a motor vessel that went down in 1979 after hitting reefs near the Housein Allrahr oil terminal, now rests in just 8 metres of water off Tyre. It’s a shallow dive, which makes it perfect for longer bottom times and a great option for newer divers or those looking to shake off some rust. You'll find the wreck broken up in places, but the outline of the vessel is still clear enough to explore. We’ve seen plenty of damselfish darting around the superstructure, and the occasional moray eel peeking out from darker corners. It's a solid, accessible wreck dive that’s easy to navigate, offering a good glimpse into Lebanon's underwater history.
