The team at Alrabdan are exactly the kind of people you want running your dive day in Daymaniyat. They’re super relaxed, know the islands like the back of their hand, and just make the whole experience easy. We’d pick them for a chill day exploring some of the shallower sites, perfect for shaking off dive rust or taking someone new on a Discover Scuba Diving trip. Their boats are comfortable, a nice change from some of the speedier, less spacious options out there. What we really appreciate about Alrabdan is their calm approach. Daymaniyat can get busy, especially on weekends, but they seem to navigate it all with zero fuss. We’ve had some fantastic dives with them at Aquarium, watching the batfish school so tightly you can barely see past them, and at Garden, where the turtles are practically guaranteed to be munching on something. They depart from Seeb Marina, which is convenient if you’re staying in Muscat and want to avoid a long drive. Our tip? Try to go on a weekday if you can – it makes a huge difference to how peaceful the sites feel, and Alrabdan are great at finding those quieter moments. They just get it.
