Adventure Diver - Yanbu
The team at Adventure Diver are the go-to crew in Yanbu, especially if you’re looking to really explore the Saudi Red Sea. We’ve always found their local knowledge impressive, getting us to quieter spots where other boats don't venture as often. They’re a solid choice for anyone wanting to push past the usual resort dives and get into some more exploratory diving, or for those keen on advancing their PADI certifications in an uncrowded environment. Yanbu diving often surprises people. We love the sheer walls here, dropping into the deep blue with schools of bannerfish fluttering against the coral. Keep an eye out for grey reef sharks cruising in the current off the deeper pinnacles – our favourite time to spot them is usually first thing in the morning, before the thermocline settles in too much. Visibility generally holds strong, often 20 metres plus, with that classic Red Sea warmth. They run trips to several sites we rate highly, and if you can get on a boat heading to the Seven Sisters, absolutely do it. The corals are lush, and the sheer volume of fusiliers can be incredible, sometimes so thick they filter the sunlight into shimmering shafts. Just be prepared for potential currents on some of the more exposed sites; it’s part of what keeps them so healthy.
