With 118+ marine species recorded in the area - including manta rays, mobula rays (devil rays), orcas, sea turtles and sperm whales - Kelapa dua offers some of Derawan Islands's richest reef diving.
Kelapa Dua in Derawan is a good spot for new divers looking to get comfortable with deeper profiles, down to 31m. It’s mostly a sandy bottom, broken up by some scattered coral heads. You'll often see groups of fusiliers darting around, and we've spotted stingrays buried in the sand here too. It's a relaxed dive, good for taking your time and practicing buoyancy.
