With 118+ marine species recorded in the area - including manta rays, mobula rays (devil rays), orcas, sea turtles and sperm whales - Lumantang offers some of Derawan Islands's richest diving.
Lumantang, off Derawan, is a solid intermediate dive. It's a slope down to 22m, often with a decent current. You'll drift along past schooling fusiliers and jacks, keeping an eye out for reef sharks moving through. It’s a good option for a relaxed drift, best suited for those comfortable with some flow.
