Manta Avenue is exactly what it sounds like, a busy thoroughfare for manta rays in the Derawan Islands. We often drop in, find a good spot on the reef, and wait for them to glide past. It’s a pretty chill dive, generally calm, so it suits newer divers comfortable with an open-water drift. You're usually looking for reef mantas, but oceanic mantas show up too.
