Sandy Ridge in Derawan offers a different flavour of diving. It’s a muck dive, pure and simple, best explored slowly over its sandy and muddy bottom. We usually spot a good variety of critters here, from pipefish to nudibranchs, sometimes even a wonderpus or an ornate ghost pipefish if you’re lucky. It's a solid choice for macro photographers and divers who enjoy hunting for the small stuff.
