Shark City, off Derawan, is exactly what it sounds like. It’s a reliable spot to see reef sharks, often cruising along the sandy bottom at about 25 metres. We’ve found it’s a good, straightforward dive for beginners looking for their first shark encounter without strong currents. Expect to hang out and watch the action unfold.
