Tanjung Kelapa - Derawan Islands

Tanjung Kelapa sits just off Derawan and offers a decent intermediate dive, particularly if you’re looking for a relaxed afternoon. Dropping to around 30 metres, the topography here is more about gentle slopes than dramatic walls. You’ll drift past a mix of hard and soft corals, often seeing schools of fusiliers and snapper darting in and out. Keep an eye out for a few resident turtles cruising by; they’re pretty reliably spotted here. It's a nice easy dive when the currents are mild, perfect for a couple of long leisurely bottom times.
