Cystal Rock Dive Site - Komodo

Crystal Rock. What can we say? We’ve dived it more times than we can count and it still gets our hearts pumping. This isn’t a gentle drift; it’s an adrenaline shot, a full-throttle Komodo experience that earns its ‘standout’ tier. You’ll drop in, likely into a ripping current, and instantly feel the sheer power of the ocean here. The trick is to tuck in behind the pinnacle, out of the main flow, and just watch the show unfold. The sheer volume of fish is almost unbelievable. We’re talking about schools of fusiliers so thick they momentarily block out the sun, swarms of greenfish, and the occasional majestic manta cruising by in the blue. Keep an eye out for the smaller stuff too; those tiny crinoid clingfish are masters of disguise, and the peacock-tail anemone shrimp are always a delight. Our favourite moment is usually when the current flips, and you get to drift slowly around the rock, seeing it all from a different perspective. It’s not for the faint of heart, or those uncomfortable with strong currents. But if you're an experienced diver looking for a truly exhilarating dive, Crystal Rock delivers big time.
