Manta Rhei - Komodo
The team at Manta Rhei are our kind of people. They really get Komodo, and frankly, they deliver an outstanding dive operation. We’ve been out with them multiple times, and their day boats are always well-organised, never over-crowded, and they put genuine effort into finding the best conditions for the day. You’ll be on the water early, often before the bigger boats, which means encountering those first reef sharks cruising the current at Batu Bolong, or having Manta Point mostly to yourself. We particularly love their commitment to safety, but it's delivered with a relaxed, friendly vibe. Their guides have an uncanny knack for spotting the tiny stuff – pygmy seahorses tucked into gorgonians, or a frogfish camouflaged on a sponge – while still keeping a keen eye on the wider reef action. Meals on board are always fresh and plentiful, a welcome sight after a few dives in Komodo’s often zippy currents. If you're looking to complete your Advanced Open Water or even a Rescue Diver in some seriously impressive conditions, Manta Rhei offers that personal touch you don't always find with larger operations. They really make you feel like part of the dive family.
