Sebayor Kecil Dive Site - Komodo

Sebayor Kecil is one of those easy-going Komodo sites that just keeps giving. We love it as a drift dive, often with a gentle push along a sloping reef covered in some seriously impressive coral. Think fields of staghorn, big plates of brain coral, and delicate birdsnest corals everywhere you look. It’s not the roaring current action of some of the park’s southern sites, and that's precisely why we rate it. The real show here is the sheer density of reef fish. Fusiliers school so thick they can blot out the sun for a second, and you’ll weave through them alongside snapper and sweetlips. Keep an eye out for blennies popping their heads out of the coral, and if you’re lucky, a manta might glide past in the deeper blue. We’d suggest going in the morning; the light hitting the shallows really makes the coral colours pop. It’s a site that suits divers who appreciate a relaxed pace and a healthy, bustling reef.
