Siaba Kecil Dive Site - Komodo

Siaba Kecil is a drift diver's dream, plain and simple. We love how the current just picks you up, like an express train through a coral canyon. You start by descending onto a gentle slope, often finding green turtles munching away, completely unfazed by your presence. Then the ride begins. The reef rushes by, a blur of staghorn and table corals, a true kaleidoscope of colour. It’s not just speed, though. The fish life here is phenomenal. Schools of fusiliers are so thick they can temporarily block out the sun, and we’ve seen countless coral hinds darting in and out of the bommies. Keep an eye out for those tiny Christmas blennies, too; they're always a cheerful sight. This isn't a site for lingering, it's about the journey, feeling that exhilarating rush of water. We’d suggest going in the morning; the light seems to hit the reef just right then, really making the colours pop. It’s a site for competent divers who enjoy a bit of pace, a truly classic Komodo experience.
