Baulu Reef - Sulawesi

Baulu Reef, off Sulawesi, offers a pleasant drift over a mixed reef. We found decent coverage of Staghorn and Anacropora corals, creating good shelter for smaller creatures. Keep an eye out for hooded oysters tucked into crevices and the occasional half-round cardita. While not the most dramatic reef we’ve seen, it’s a good spot for a relaxed dive, especially if you’re keen on macro life, with the currents often gentle enough for a leisurely pace.
