With 238+ marine species recorded in the area - including blacktip reef sharks, giant moray eels, pygmy seahorses, seahorses and sperm whales - Garim reef offers some of Sulawesi's richest reef diving. Water ranges 29-31°C, warmest June, October, November.
Garim Reef serves up a classic Sulawesi coral dive. The reef slopes gently, offering plenty of space to explore bommies draped in soft corals and home to nudibranchs and small reef fish. It’s a relaxed dive, good for photographers wanting time with macro subjects or divers just looking to soak in some colourful reef scenery without fighting strong currents.
