With 238+ marine species recorded in the area - including blacktip reef sharks, giant moray eels, pygmy seahorses, seahorses and sperm whales - Muhidjin offers some of Sulawesi's richest diving. Water ranges 29-31°C, warmest June, October, November.
Muhidjin is a reliable site for seeing a good cross-section of Sulawesi's typical reef life. We've often found schooling fusiliers here, along with the usual suspects like anemonefish and reef sharks patrolling the deeper sections. It’s a good choice for a relaxed dive, suitable for most experience levels when conditions are calm. Keep an eye out for nudibranchs on the coral bommies.
