With 238+ marine species recorded in the area - including blacktip reef sharks, giant moray eels, pygmy seahorses, seahorses and sperm whales - Poopoh offers some of Sulawesi's richest diving. Water ranges 29-31°C, warmest June, October, November.
Poopoh offers a gentle slope dive, ideal for those looking for a relaxed time underwater. We've often found nudibranchs here, along with the occasional cuttlefish hiding amongst the soft corals. It's a good spot for macro enthusiasts, or for divers just getting comfortable with Indonesian conditions. Visibility can vary, but generally, it's a calm site.
